March week 9-15

Towards the beginning of the week, we focused primarily on the standards for Econ and English. Last week we had scheduled Friday to open the student store after school because our Drama Club was going to host a movie that they have been working on since around November. The movie will start today Friday the 13th at 7 but the gym will be opened since 6:30 so we will open it before.

March week 2-6

In the week of March 2-6 we opened the store twice. We scheduled more dates that we would open the store for the following week and we worked on the inventory. We also worked on our civics and English Standards. Furthermore, I finished reading the book and the packet from Walden. On Friday we took a multiple-choice test and wrote 2 essay responses.

February week 23-27

This past week we did not open the store at all because most of us had other things to do such as FFA Co-op practice, Softball practice, upward bound etc. So instead what we did was work on our bog posts and standards for both English and Civics. We talked to Mrs. Cervantes on Tuesday or Wednesday about what she expected us to do to get better grades. I asked her that what was she looking for in an essay to obtain a B or A. She replied with that we needed to add more examples in the essays not just list or define civic terms. We discussed several standards and possible ways in which we can get the work done. So by the end of the week I chose 2 standards that I will be researching for the following week. For our English standards we were looking at some of the other work we did for our other English classes and trying to tie them in with the project of the student store.
